Woman sexually assaulted in broad daylight | 911

A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted Wednesday in broad daylight.

Police said a man approached the woman as she got out of her car near the loading dock of a store in the 13000 block of Lake City Way NE around 4:23 p.m.

The man, who was reportedly wielding a baseball bat and a large knife, threatened the woman, pushed her down to the ground near some dumpsters, then sexually assaulted her, police said.

The man ran off and remains at large.

The 50-year-old victim was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The attacker was described as a black man, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was wearing a multi-colored knit cap and a light-colored shirt.
